CBSE New Guidelines
CBSE Special Scheme for Session 2022 and 10th, 12th Exam 2022: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has made a big change for the new academic session 2021-22. Now like this year, next year also the result of 10th and 12th board examinations will be ready with the help of internal assessment. Not only this, 9th marks for 10th result and 11th marks for 12th result will also play an important role.
CBSE has issued comprehensive guidelines in this regard on 5th July 2021, Monday.
CBSE in its notice said that the new session will be divided into two sessions with 50 percent syllabus. At the end of each session, examination of 50% syllabus will be conducted. By doing this the chances of taking classes for the last semester will increase even more. Apart from this, CBSE has issued many more guidelines which you can read further in detail.
Special features of CBSE guidelines :-
1. There will be two term end examinations with 50% syllabus.
2. Like last year, the syllabus for this session 2021-22 will also be reduced.
3. Efforts will be made to make internal assessment, practical examinations and project work more reliable and valid.
4. Internal assessment of class 9, 10 will be done on the basis of three periodic tests, student's knowledge and project work etc.
5. Class 11, 12 Internal assessment will be done on the basis of topic/unit test, practical and project report etc.
6. Schools will have to prepare profiles of all the students in which the proof of internal assessment will be in digital format.
7. Portal facility of schools will be provided for uploading of internal assessment marks on CBSE portal.
8. Term-1 exam will be of 90 minutes. This paper will have Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
9. Term-II examination will be treated as annual examination which will be of two hours. This exam will be conducted in March-April. In case of failure to take the exam, 90 minutes test will be conducted on MCQ paper.
